As China and Tibet continue to have issues, we need to find out who’s on the right side. The Chinese military and police are trying to control the border problem. The Dalai Lama continues to hide from the spotlight despite the fact that it was his plan to get the Chinese to attack Tibetans. Now he is denying this. However he wanted the Chinese to attack Tibetans so he could blame them.
China and Tibet: The Blazing Conflict
March 26, 2008 by The PearNew Movie: Vantage Point
March 2, 2008 by The PearThe new movie called Vantage Point came out not too long ago. I saw it yesterday and I gave it all 4 stars. This movie looks at a well planned assasination of the President of the United States when he’s visiting Spain. The movie starts with the time being 11:59:57 and plays through almost half of the story with a bird’s eye view. Then at a climactic point, everything freezes, and the time goes back to 11:59:57 from one person’s point of view. Once that person’s view reaches an extremely climactic point, the movie goes back to 11:59:57. Eventually they show everyone’s view together, piecing the movie into one story. A great performance by the cast and a great storyline in The Vantage Point.
